The only thing i maybe miss are merchants that sell you random stuff and sector maps. And its not that much improved to the old one (in X-tended you can use jumpdrive on M-3 ships, in Xrm you cant.and it just become a snorefest trying to get over 10 sectors).Īnyway.X-tended has more stuff and you can also play it on easy,normal, hard and X-treme. Somehow space also feels waaaaay more 'realistic' and lonely in X3 as opposed to rebirth.Ah i did play XRM.but some sectors were so crouded that just laged the hell out of me. Somehow I don't like it in these games that your transports can get blown up by pirates when you're not in the system ^^ Really like it, although I'm not sure if I like the 'added difficulty'. Yeah it looks meh becuase i had to turn it into jpeg. There are also some storylines, but i know you need good boron rep or they wont work.and some XXX sector unlocked. Unlike the old game, you start in the new universe wich expands over time. (voice sector mod caused lag when combat and sound overlap when going to another sector)
The only problem i had was the new voice, but it can be disabled. (and you need to put 2 fixes into files after you complete instal-its all in the tread) You also need a torent program to download the mod. However i recomend instaling this with no steam if posible due to steam updates breaking the mod. (+ a good time spend while waiting for other space games to come out)Īll you need is a patched X-3 teran conflict (no need for albion prelude expansion). Playing this mod for 2 weeks now and i just cant stop playing it! So addictive. Well here is a real X4 (with worse grafic):
Ok you maybe tried the X4.aka X Rebirth wich is a total trash (but everyone knows abauth it).
